It is an opportunity for the Irish Racing partners to further enhance the direct contact they have with At The Races on a day to day basis,” said Mr Ferris. “I have had the privilege of managing Limerick Racecourse, one of Ireland’s finest tracks, for the past 5 years and am indebted to the chairman and board for their support during my tenure.”

It is also an excellent shopping experience for the many thousand visitors.”

“In my opinion, Cowdray Park is the finest example of a polo club in the world with a superb location, the greatest pitches, meticulously run tournaments and a laid-back and friendly atmosphere,” said Mr Barfoot. “I know all the playing members really well and I also look forward to meeting as many of the non-playing members as possible during the course of the season.”

Bradley Weisbord has been appointed racing advisor to Al Shaqab Racing’s USA racing operations. He’s been COO of Team Valor International, a racing operation based in America, since July 2011.
