Three Counties Bloodhounds folds

  • End of the road for the Three Counties Bloodhounds

The Three Counties Bloodhounds, formed in 1997 to hunt in Norfolk, Cambridge and Northants, have disbanded, due to lack of time.

Master and huntsman Paul Stockdale described the decision as a very difficult one that had not been taken lightly: “Unfortunately, lack of time has been the biggest influence on this decision – the work doesn’t stop once we have finished a season’s hunting.

My sincere thanks go to all of you who have supported us and to all the landowners who have been generous enough to allow us to hunt over their land – we have been very fortunate.”

He added: “I hope that you will all continue to give your support to hunting in any way you can.”

The hounds have been sold as a pack.
