Show your support for hunting

  • How to show your support for hunting in the run up to the government debate on Monday, 18 March

The Countryside Alliance has stated that in the build-up to the vote on Monday, 18 March all MPs should be made aware of the strength of support there is for the continuation of hunting.

    Four things you can do:

    1. Invite your MP to visit kennels, a farm, a farrier, hireling stables or a point-to-point.
    2. Visit his weekly surgery to explain the impact a hunting ban would have on rural people.
    3. Write him a short, handwritten letter at House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA.
    4. Write a letter to your local paper – letters pages are always pleased to receive readers’ views and you have a strong chance of getting your letter printed.

To find out who your local MP is and the contact details, contact the Houses of Parliament (tel: 020 7219 3000) or visit website www.locata.co.uk/commons/

For further advice, contact your CA regional director or the CA political department (tel: 020 7840 9260).
