Join in the hunting debate


  • Countryside Alliance Chairman, John Jackson, will be taking part in a public debate at the Institute of Education in London on Thursday 16th November.

    The topic of debate is “Fuel, farmers and fox-hunting: a question of democracy?” and has beenorganised by Charter 88 – the organisation which seeks a written constitution and greater accountability from public bodies.

    John will be on a panel which will also include George Monbiot of the Guardian, Peter Hitchens of the Express and Susan Kramer (who was the Liberal Democrat candidate for Mayor of London and sits on the transport body of the new London authority.

    She and Steven Norris were invited on this by Ken Livingstone.)
