Ponies (UK) winter championships


  • Molly Morley and the Welsh section B Bounds Adiemus were crowned Malcolm Jackson Supreme Winter Champions and took the Great Fancy Supreme title at the Ponies (UK) winter championships at Unex Towerlands. The pair also stood reserve in the Nupafeed Confined Championship and took the Llanarth Mountain and Moorland title.

    Winner of the ridden potential competition/dressage horse/pony championship, Winter Towerlands Cup champions, first reserves in the Malcolm Jackson Supreme, and reserves again in the overall supreme was Rebecca Edwards with Hindleap Choir Boy.

    Katie White and Lindsey Hillyard’s Brookhall Anna Marie remained foot-perfect to take both the Nupafeed Confined and Waxwing First Ridden M&M titles.

    Bayley Gibson claimed the Colne title with Waitwith Déjà Vu, while Jenny Morris and Telaid Playful took the Nupafeed Confined. Jenny Morris clinched the Nupafeed Confined Novice M&M accolade with former broodmare Telaid Playful.

    The Llanarth Confined Novice M&M Championship went to Sophie Reeve’s large breed winner Hywi Moonshine. Charlotte Harris and Colby Starlight carried off the Horselode M&M Working Hunter Pony Championship title. Jessica Robins and Hendal Hallmark headed the confined novice M&M WHP.

    Joanna Moyers and Treifeinon Glen fought off strong opposition to take the Mirage Show Hunter title and the part-bred title.

    Emily Curtis lifted the open riding horse championship with Double Chance.

    Jayne Turney and Soulbury Spot On lifted the British Skewbald and Piebald Association Winter Ridden Coloured title.

    Nicola Musson clinched a unique in-hand championship double, landing both the Keston Royal Occasion Confined Novice and Winter titles with Littletree Bodini and D’Abernon Replica.
