Wet Eczema - Advice please

Our terrier keeps getting patches of wet Eczema on the side of her face / neck, just under her ear (Bilaterally). She got some more last week which was the 4th time and we found another small patch at the weekend which make it 5 times in the last 6-8 months. (She is 14months old if its relevent)
She's been to the vet twice over it and had anitbiotics 3 times which usually clears it up. Also got fuciderm cream but, this last time we have scrubbed it with Malaceb and then sprayed with terramycin... now have a blue dog!!  but this seems to dry it out within hours!
But I am worried about her having antibiotics too often, and would love to find a way of preventing it. She is a very healthy dog in all other aspects!
The vet explained that the way a dogs skin cells are put together makes them quite prone to infections from bacteria that sits there naturally in the crevices and all it take is a small abrassion to let the bacteria under the skin... which ties in as she is allways playing rough and tumble with the other terriers and they do usually mouth eachother, (roughly at times) around the area in which she gets the problem!
He also clarified that it can go from a tiny nick to a big patch within hours... which is usually what happens with Fudge, she'll be fine when she goes int he kennel after a walk then she'll have a big patch on her when she comes out for her next walk the other end of the day!!
But has anyone else had a dog that gets this and how can we prevent her getting it in the first place?
