Some of you may remember my mare went lame....he was in teh vets yesterday and has damaged her tendon sheath on her near hind. Yesterday she had it clipped and scanned, some fluid drawn off to check for infection (which it apears not to be), local anasthetic injected then bandaged from hock to floor.
Shes feeling very sorry for herself at the moment. Back in on Monday to have cortisone injected.
Callie is now 5 1/2 months so I need to work out what is best, I don't want to keep her couped up, but equally as Holz is on box rest if I were to wean her, she can't walk her bag off...
Callie was also ment to be going to the SPSS show next weekend. My vet says H can travel then stand and look pretty, but I don't know what is for the best....
