I'd get them in and make sure I'm patrolling the yard. My YO had a foal which suddenly developed what appeared to be wobblers the day after a big firework party nearby. The assumption was that he'd run into a fence or tree whilst panicking and broken a bone in his neck. He had to be pts after 6 weeks. Fireworks - hate the bloody things, they should be banned.
