We went to our first ever cross country clinic on Saturday at Littleton Manor and as requested have done my first ever report, sorry if it's a bit waffly!
We haven't done that much as only had him 3 years and had a year out due to various injurues including tendon but have done a couple of little hunter trials.
Booked in on the Sacha Pemble clinic as the place looked fabulous and the organiser was really helpful and assured me that there would be a group that suited me.
We warmed up on the amazing gallops, was wonderful after only having ridden on ground like concrete for ages and headed into the field. After warming up over a a line of fences we worked our way accross the schooling field. There is a huuuuuuge selection of jumps especially around the 2'6-2'9 mark and I had a great clinic. Sacha had us working on rhythm and balance and was very good. No nonsense and really down to earth and made me feel very at ease! Came out feeling very confident and now feel ready to move it on up a gear and am actually excited about it

Had two friends in other groups one at Intro, one at Pre-Novice and both thoroughly enjoyed it too - fabulous day and very proud of my boy so thought would share a picture of the croc at the water - no comments on my facial expression purrlease!

Funny that croc looks ma-hu-ssive on their website but is very little in the flesh
