Default Gatcombe or South of England??

I am hoping to do my first CIC* later this season and was trying to decide between Gatcombe and South of England.
Any advice, opinions or experience of either event would be very much appreciated!

Thanks

I was aiming Gatcombe CIC* until I found out I was eligible for the Military Novice, so we're rerouting to SOE I think. Not definate. Depends, but I'm consider either, and I think Gatcombe will give you a really good "atmosphere" as well.

Gatcombe courses are always very good, i've had lovely times round there, they are encouraging, fair, testing in the right way, educational.
Haven't been to SoE for donkey's years and never did CIC there anyway so can't comment, but I can't think of a bad word to say about Gatcombe. It's extra nice if you get a chance to have a nice chat to the course designer too, of course, after waxing lyrical about how super the course is while walking through the woods, not realising she is right behind you...
