Default anyone come across this (poorly foal)

I have a six week old filly foal, on saturday she was lame checked her over found some swelling on her back leg right up in her thigh, cold hosed and kept eye, on sunday, a boil type thing had erupted just below her vulva to the left, cleaned her up and checked this morning creamy substance coming from vulva - called vet, he has a look and just inside her vulva and finds a small lump from which this creamy stuff is coming from - first though abcess, but pus stuff doesn't smell, foal is active bright and feeding well.....so treatment plan is i have to sqeeze said lump twice a day, and give oral antibiotics, foal is soooo good about this and it doesn't seem to hurt her....vet suggested a blocked gland, he is going to look at pussy stuff and culture it so will know more in time...

Probably totally off topic, but do ladies have a thing called a Bartholemews gland in that region

Could it be an infected one of those?

Too late and havent got time to google horsey bits

I think it may be called a batholin gland. It's been a very long time since I worked on a "lady ward" There is something called a bartholin cyst which you can get in that position, however, I really don't know if horses can get them.
