Default Futurity??

I think i need some reassurance as im soooo tempted to enter my boy in this years futurity and was adamant i was going to on the 1st July as soon as the entries opened but have been bricking it since and so far havent done it, now im panicking that ill miss out.
I dont have any papers for my mare so her foals have a bloodline for the sire and nothing on the dam side which seems such as shame that i keep thinking that if i take him to the futurity he stands on his own merit.... and will be judged so, Is this a good enough reason to do it?
IMO, i think he should be good enough to go, he recently qualified for Royal London and also came 3rd in the 3yr sports horses at The Northern Horse show.
Shall i do it?

No we had the bay gelding that won his class in the sporthorses. It was such a long day as we had 2 to show first thing in the hacks and riding horses, then waited ages for the sporthorses, and then stayed for the Cuddy last thing!

Which futurity will you go to?

Well done you, i didnt get to watch the class from the ringside as i'd already brought him off the box but i got to watch from a distance, it was an awfully long wait for the veterans to finish and yours was a really big class too. My monster was the Dark bay who wouldnt stand still when the ponys started cantering around the ring at the side of him, still.....the judge must have seen something in him to be placed as he was because the others were immaculatly behaved compared to him, i wasnt at all dissapointed it was his 1st big show he'd only been to 3 small local shows before this one and it was a last minute decision to take him, im glad i did.
Ive taken the plunge, im entered and all paid upin the SJ section for Richmond on the 11th August, will you be going? Im going to have to book a few days off work to go and watch at Grantham and Myerscough to see what goes off run up to the day.

My foal went to the Futurity, won a first premium and was in the top four in her section in the country and went to the Elite Show last year.

Her mum is my Heinz 57 jumping pony, with absolutly nothing known about her past.

They are judged on their own merit and you will be fine.

See you at Arena UK then!!

We'll be at the Arena UK one Jellibean so please come and say hello. Not taking the bay 2yo, but a yearling sport pony - Daldorn Sandpiper. He's a chestnut and quite araby looking and will no doubt be a total plonker as will be his first outing, but please come and say hello

Go for it....!!! I'm entering my foal this year on his own merit, the dam's history is 50% known by AES stallion Movistar, I think he's a star (but I'm very biased!!) however he does it'll be experience for him and I'll just be interested to see what experienced judges make of him, all I know is that he's going to be bigger than I thought my mare would produce!!!!!!

Anyway who's going to Solihull??????????
