When to ultrasound ,advice please

we have to travel about two hours to a vet to get an
ultrasound so I want to go at the best time to reduce the number of times they have to travel that far even though they are a totally laid back travellers.

I have a mini mare that is about 50 days
when is the latest one can be done ?
and a TB mare that has just come back from stud , due to an injury to the stallion she cant be rebred so I brought her home although she was only serviced on Friday 3 July .
If she doesnt come back into season when should I take her ?

We don't have our mini mares scanned, we usually have a blood test done at 100 days, due to the fact that our vet is over 6 foot and he wont risk an internal on such a small horse. If you can find a small vet, then they might scan her at 60 days.

Your TB mare can be scanned at 14 days, then 28 days for a HB
