Yes, I know of one, one of the most ridiculous looking things I have ever seen.

I wish stupid crossbreeds wouldn't catch on

What's the point of them? I get labradoodles - the idea was to get a low allergy assistance dog as I understand it - but what are these for?

There is no lack of mongrels over here where I live, if that is what you're asking for. I also know of four FEI recognised different basset breeds, Basset Artésien Normand, Basset Bleu de Gascogne, Basset Fauve de Bretagne and Basset hound, neither of them makes any real sense to me to breed to a Labrador Retriever.
Though I have found a link to a picture of a Bassador ( http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/b/bassador.htm ), very cute indeed but seems to me like yet another another pointless design breed/mongrel.

If you have one and you like it, good for you, I hope you have lots of joy with it.

There's nothing wrong with that.

I'm sorry too, but the way I read your first post, where at the ending you're asking if they where "catching on", I thought you considered if there was a market for making more of them.

Well thank you

I have one who is nearly 9 & is a wonderful girl. She was the produce of rape (3 in litter) & I did not pay a penny for her (though she has cost me many!)

I also had her spayed asap as I did not want her getting crossed with a lurcher, collie or jrt! Imagine what that would look like!! Plus I do not breed x breds!

But I would not change her for the world she is the most loving, loyal, friendly dog.
She is also a registered PatADog, they go into hospitals to cheer patients up.

She looks like a Lab on Basset legs with the obligtory longer lugs!

Would love to see what yours looks like!?

Here's my girl

On the left

Letting my lab puppy kill her!

Sorry for pic over load! I have hundreds of her!

She looks like a sweetie - look at her little stumpies!

I think the problem that people have is when people stick two dogs togther, call it a something-ador or a thingummy-doodle then charge a grand a time for the offspring Have to admit I thought this is what the OP meant - sorry OP I misunderstood!
