Default feeding mum

My mare is on short grass with hay at night. I am feeding her stud mix, alpha and sugarbeet at night (not a lot) She has always been good at keeping weight on so until she was due to foal I fed her lo-cal. Foalie is 11 weeks now and mum hasnt dropped a pound since birth. Do you think I should drop the stud mix and put her back on a feed balancer and if so which one? Worried she is going to get too fat

If anything drop the SB and other feed stuff. The mare should get all the nutrients that she needs from the SM. What size and breed is the mare.

She is tb x wb and she is 16.2. It's just I read somewhere that SB helps with milk production. Is that not the case?

As I said if you feed the correct feed, Stud mix and correct amount you shouldn't have to feed anything else. We feed D&H mare and youngstock. Our TB mare gets 14lb a day, which she shares with our 3 month old filly. All I'm saying is why buy 3 bags of feed when a decent Studmix is all you need. Sarah
