Default Ifor Williams Ramp Springs

How do you tighten them? My back ramp seemed 'heavy' and OH tightened the bolts at the top of the springs either side but it hasn't made much difference. Are we not doing it correctly?
Trailer is only 3 yrs old and had no a lot of use so I would be surrised if we needed new springs!

No idea about the springs but my front ramp was heavy. Replaced the gas strut (was pretty cheap if I remember, under £20 anyway) and it was fine. Give Ifor a phone they are really helpfull.
