Default Replacing Ariat Terrain boots

My Ariat Terrain boots have reached the end of their natural lifespan (sometime last year if I'm honest, but I'm still wearing 'em). I'm looking for a pair of lace-up boots with padded ankles and flexible, grippy soles, suitable for riding and for walking/jogging alongside on rough terrain. Any recommendations?

Ariat seem to have stopped making Terrain. I've tried on the 'replacement' Tellurides, but they didn't feel nearly as comfortable and the soles felt rigid. If anyone has a pair - do they get more flexible with wear?
