A bruising encounter

I had a bruising encounter with some of those nasty anti types today in the august pages of my local paper:

Those antis have really got it in for me. First of all I am 'childish' then I'm a 'sad old man', which is it to be?

That 'Harriet' seemed like a particularily unpleasant sort. Why do they always have to insult you? Can't they make an argument without name calling? I have to say the similarity with some of the contributers to this forum is only too apparent.

I have the feeling she was gearing up to insult my dogs too.

That would have been too much!
