Badminton dressage all done
A very interesting top 10, and fairly close- there's only the difference of a run out XC between the top 50!
Looking forward to tomorrow, if the course really does test as is predicted, I reckon there could be a lot of changes in the leaderboard by the end of the day.

Re: Badminton dressage all done
Does anyone know what happened to Zara and Ardfield Magic Star?
watched her work him for about an hour last night and he looked fantastic - but clearly something went very wrong in the arena today!

Re: Badminton dressage all done
I think they had a wee problem in movement 17;
SL Half-pass left
LA Collected canter
A Track left
As their marks were 3, 2, 1 from the respective judges and the photo on the website I think must be the "incident";
http://www.badminton-horse.co.uk/lat...os/friday.aspx
(It's the 2nd photo near the bottom of the page which is labelled "Zara Phillips")
Submission scores were only 4, 5, 4 as well. Poor Zara, I think she had her hands full today!

I was listening-he was really tense from what they were saying and didn't fully relax.

Re: Badminton dressage all done
Was being a total git - Zara did well to hold it together as well as she did! The commentators were saying about it being tactfully ridden...

Re: Badminton dressage all done
Thanks for filling me in guys - I am REALLY surprised as he was going just so fantastically last night, really soft, supple and submissive.
I guess the atmosphere in there was just too much for him, poor lad.
At least Zara should be able to have a pressure free XC with him though, which should be fun!
