Default Brown or black tack??

I've been told that for showing brown tack is more advisable, but have seen alot of different views. Does it matter or is it just a matter of preference?

I have always been told that brown tack is correct for showing, except Piebalds, rather odd but apparently you can use either on them.

LOL, I'm sure you are right. Our little Piebald did OK with black though, good job as it was the only saddle we could find which fit her.

I fit 95% brown. If you get the right shade of neutral dark brown then even blacks, greys and piebalds look great in brown, it can make black bits look blacker.
