I'm not returning to work after the birth of my daughter last year as we are relocating (again) to a new town just before my mat leave is due to end. I've been thinking about what I want to do work-wise and am very lucky that we can live comfortably on OH's wage so there is no hurry or pressure to find something. I would love to be able to work for myself, especially now there is Mini-Hippo to consider.
I have an MSc in Osteology so I'm familiar with anatomy and I have a real interest in equine massage. Has anybody qualified in this and make a living from it? Is it something you would recommend? I can think of the pros (setting own hours, working with clients, helping horses) but what are the cons? (I'm thinking a lot of travel, dealing with badly trained horses and badly trained owners )
Failing equine massage, I was thinking of making matchy matchy saddle pads, wraps, exercise sheets etc. to sell on Etsy and Ebay...
