Default Offering a part exchange for a horse?

How wise is this? Basically I am possibly looking to sell my current horse in my sig (even though it breaks my heart!) with the intention of starting all over again with a youngster. By that, Im meaning a 4 or 5yo green or unbacked etc. Anyway, how wise would it be to put on my horses sale advert "possible part exchange for youngster"? Has anyone actually had any success from this sort of thing? Im just worried I'll find someone who wants my horse but only on the basis I took their youngster (which may not be suitable)!

If it was me I would put it on my ad but be prepared to turn them down if the youngster isnt suitable. I actually did this with my last horse, I was getting no where with him, I wanted to dressage and he was a total showjumper wouldnt concentrate on the flat and would get so strong so I px him to a showjumping producer for a youngster they had, and I havent looked back. SJer did really well with him and eventually sold him onto someone wanting a schoolmaster to some them the ropes.
