Default What weight for a 14.2hh?

What weight of rider would you put on a 14.2hh pony? Both a fine type and cobby type? For a decent rider short term.

    Thanks!

Need more details about what the pony would be expected to do.
They could carry more weight if they are expected to go for a walk and trot hack for one hour once a week, than if they are being jumped and schooled several times a week.

Project pony - so schooling, lunging, hacking, jumping. For a few months through summer with a decent rider on board.

The pony in my siggy is around 14.2 and she carries me fine and i'm about 5ft6/5ft7 and around 9st and she's pretty fine. I would say she could probably carry a little more bit wouldn't put much more on her. Ponies tend to be tough little things so as long as it's not a rediculous amout then i'm sure all will be fine.

WelshxTB (I think!) carries up to 11.5 stone and prob carried 11 stone round an xc course (when we were younger and lighter ) in his lunatic all or nothing speed.

OH has a medium heavy weight (if that makes sense) 14.2 cob. He carries me for miles without batting an eyelid, in fact I have to hold him back. I'm pushing 16 stone.
