opens onto the driver's side, doesn't it? Which means if you have to off-load at the side of a road in an emergency, you're into the traffic.

Most others off-load onto the passenger's side....

puts me off them (that, and the price)

if you are unloading on a road the police should be there and the traffic stopped. so it wont matter what side you unload.

I like them. They are well priced for what they are; if you think of how much a new Theault or even a new Marlborough box will cost I think these are good value. The ramp on the driver's side wouldn't bother me; as someone said if you are unloading on a road the traffic should be stopped anyway.

A friend of mine enquired about one but was told that there was a really long waiting list for a new one, so ordered a Marlborough instead.

The Sonic only has 1,100 kilos, so is one horse or two tinies.

Once you are above 3.5 tonnes, at 4 t, I think I'd go up one more size and get more storage and space ina 5.5 tonner.
Interesting to see that the Supersoni to take two larger horses gain the payload by being rated at 4 tonnes. So need C licence.
Nice to see dimensions and weights up front!

These look pretty good. Like LCobby says, a 5.5ton would be preferable with a big horse, but there are not so many that travel them forward/backwards and as I would never travel my horse herringbone these little boxes seem a good option.
