Foals Height

We measured our foal (Kovu) this afternoon, he stands at 14.2 and he is only 6 months, will his growth start to slow down soon.

Or

Is this around a normal height for him: dam being 15.2 and sire 15.3

Does sound quite tall. A rough rule of thumb is a foal will attain 90% of his mature height by a year. So for a 15.2hh, you'd expect them to be about 14.0hh at a year.
