My horse was worked first thing yesterday morning (medium work for about 40 minutes as usual) and was fine when I checked him late (10.30pm) last night.
When I went out this morning there was dried blood round his nostral and a few drips on the floor just outside his stable (when he had been looking over the door). There was no other blood in his stable and no sign of him hurting himself. (His bed was fairly tidy.)
I have given him the day off today but I still feel a bit concerned. I was planning to ride him gently tomorrow and then as normal on Friday providing everything is fine.
Do you think this will be ok? What do you think has caused this?

There was an article in a recent H&H on nosebleeds - see if says anything in there?
