i have always restrained from buying white bandages, i am trying to repress the dressage diva in me, and be an eventer , but... do they 'highlight' the legs more, ie when i watch my lessons atm i cant really see my horses legs as the indoor school is alittle murky and he wears dark bandages, i was wondering if he wore white bandages then i might actually be able to see what his legs are up to...and maybe our legyeild isnt that bad after all thankies

Yes they will help you see his legs...its will have the effect of lifting the leg in photos. I always try to wear lighter bandages when I want pictures indoors, but I have light blue, not going to buy whites until I really HAVE to!!

hehe ignore my last post i like the pale blue sugesstion may have to go on a shopping trip to find some thanks lucretia, the only things is 2 sets of boots are quite expensive (well depending on what you buy) and im on a poxy student budget, bandages are cheaper for schooling (dw he wears the best protective boots for jumping, xc etc)

This is what mine look like (pale/baby blue)

and thats on a dark image, so you don't have to get white. Mine are Legacy ones, think they were £9, not bad and they are quite thick

Thank you Thing is he has white legs anyway?! Mine are the Legacy ones too, seem good and I dont think they were too expensive. Also been mega impressed with my "everyday" Cottage Craft fleece bandages

No problem, I must admit I was quite taken with a mint green set of jumpers bandages the other day...but have so far kept myself restrained and not bought them. Maybe when I need to replace a set! I think light colours in general will have the same effect as I also use a light purple set for pictures.
And thank you, I think he's a bit yummy!!

I've got a set of light grey bandages 'cos I refuse to buy white in case the dressage divas on the yard think I've joined their gang. They were a little more expensive than some bandages 'cos they're the JW ones which are half fleece & half normal bandage but it means the fleece is kept clean by the normal bandage so it doesn't get sand, etc stuck to it. I think you'll find any light colours will make your horses legs easier to see.
