Stella in Vermont
      #3587464 - 11/10/2008 17:54

Just a few pictures from our time in the beautiful Stowe area...

Hubs and the girl

That time of year

Our destination for this evening

Stella sights her first cow (whreupon she play growled, danced, and the calf started bucking )

Percy calf

Creepy corn maze

Cob from the carriage driving stable over the road

Those little legs walked twelve miles yesterday, and twelve miles today. And she *still* wants to play tug of war

She sure does. She has three more trips planned betwen now and the end of the year, and then she's off to her favourite vacation spot over Christmas

And she's a terrible flirt when she's on her hols, having already made firm friends with other guests at the hotel: Pookie the Pomeranian and Azalea, the Bluetick Coonhound.

She's such a little sweetheart . Aren't the colours beautiful at this time of year. I took some photos the other day of the stunning colours but the camera really didn't do them justice unfortunately.

Native Vermonters have been telling me that it's their most beautiful Fall in memory (or maybe they say that to all the tourists).

In any case, I love how unspoilt it is up here. And the houses are so cheap: $300k for an eighteenth century antique on ten level acres.

So nice to see Stella enjoying herself - she is one lucky doggie. The scenery is beautiful. I miss the changing seasons, here in SoCal we don't experience such extremes!

It's the one, who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give. (me) sadly.
And the soul, afraid of dying, that never learns to live.

Cala, you're a big influence--I never called her Stells before, but that's what she mostly is these days. So there you go
