I brought my skewbald mare in this evening. Shes been out in the rain all day and I picked her foot up to pick it out and found her heels were rather blue on both front feet. Then I noticed parts of the bottom of her hoof walls were quite blue on all four legs. I've been asking my friends if they have seen this before.
I'm not sure if its because shes skewbald its noticable? I've only had her since May and this is the coldest week so far. She is stabled at night so i'm sure she'll be fine in the morning.
Anyone ever noticed this with their horses?

It's probably because her feet were wet for such a long time - my welsh sec b does it as does my Hann x Tb.
