bedding for shelter-rubber matting plus?
      #3489475 - 06/09/2008 12:39

I am usually a straw fan but am moving horse to a field with shelter, that will have rubber matting in. Ideally would like to deep litter over the winter. He's a clean horse and I cant decide between megazorb, bedmax or hemcore? Hemcore is pricey but I will am saving loads on livery so its not a huge issue if its vfm.
I cant get ecobed etc as am in wilds of scotland and also dont have massive amounts of storage.
any suggestions/experiences welcome

I use wood fibre from Ransfords. its bigger than shavings and lasts very well and is great for COPD or lamimitics too,so its brill stuff. they also do a turnout grade and a menage grade. its excellent. much cheaper than shavings too. ring Ransfords on 01588 638331 and ask for Pauline in the Equestrian dept.
