No doubt she will, having watched some of the four and five year olds yesterday I can't help but wonder when it'll be re-named "Pippa's 4 and 5 yr old championship" Call me a cynic but if you'd entered a seaside donkey with pippa riding, you'd have a fair chance of winning. To be honest, it was pretty disheartening, especially for the other owners and riders!!

I'll go along with that, I was there too! She is a professional down to her nail tips and must have at least five marks before they even start.

See what you are saying but checking back over last few years this is the first year she has won either class, was 3rd and 4th last year.

I'm really pleased for her and british sport horse breeding. Especially as she had to withdraw from Burghley event due to injuries sustained at Gatcombe. She deserves all her success after having a few lean years eventing and deciding to concentrate on 'home grown' stock.

well said thistle. I agree with what u guys are saying that a professional is going to have an advantage, but she wasn't the only professional rider in the class! think i remember seeing sarah cohen, bettina hoy amongst the names. I just think she did well and like thistle said, shes taken a couple of years out to concentrate on their home breds!

i do totoally agree with all comments about pippa being supreme but it has to be said that some of the judges aere a little influenced by who is riding if the results are to be believe in general, not nessecarily at eh final

Good luck to her . She has worked hard to produce her great young horses & has always had an empathy with young horses . She leaves no stone unturned in her training - that is why , imo , she keeps winning !

Isn't it exactly what team GBR need for the future? Well bred, well produced young horses. Pippa must tick all the boxes to be able to produce Event Horses of the future... that hopefully go on to win us some gold medals. Good luck to her. She has experienced the lows as well as the highs. We need producers like her.... and then we need some good young riders who will take them on. Best of both worlds IMO.
