Hi
Just moving to Northumberland near Morpeth and I am looking for a Livery Yard for my 2 horses, any suggestions?
Would like school, hacking and tuition if possible.

We are about 20 mins drive from Morpeth (west) so it depends where you are! Would recommend Todburn Equestrian Centre at Longhorsley if we are too far from you - if you google them you should find their website. PM me if you would like more details about the yard here. Good luck!

Not lived "at home" for years but there used to be a fairly good yard at Stannington I think, very close to Morpeth and easily accessible.

How about Benridge just outside Morpeth?

Don't hold your breath! Only joking - I live slightly further south of morpeth and find a real lack of facilities and decent livery yards - you shouldn't be too bad round morpeth. Can't really help with regard to suggestions as I only recently moved to the area myself. Sorry GillB - what's Benridge like? Is it a livery or riding school? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Benridge used to be a riding school but I think it is liveries only now. Just outside Morpeth so very handy for you. Certainly worth a look - super arena and yard. Also Kate Herron has liveries at Tranwell - again nice big school and just outside Morpeth. I echo recommendation for Todburn - lovely people nice school and good hacking - near Longhorsley so further away though.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions, I have found somewhere in Cramlington called Plessey Equestrian. It has fab facilities, indoor and outdoor arena's full set of Show Jumps and other liveries seem really nice too which is a bonus! Girl who runs it called Katherine who events is very nice and gives as much help as wanted. Had a couple of lessons and she has really got the best out of my horse. I can highly recomend it I looked at a few and this was the best I found.

Hi - you should be fine with Katherine - she is lovely and very knowledgeable. Might see you around if you join our riding club...

I went to look at Katherine's yard also at the end of September - the week leading up to Aske - when I first bought Buddy. Was a good yard - wish I could have afforded to be there! Though it is very good value considering her ability and care for the horses.
I am now back at Tranwell (where I kept Grace) although Kate doesn't do that yard anymore - now it's Alison Scott. She is really good with the horses and VERY trustworthy. Good facilities to go in soon if an RDA centre goes ahead.
But anyway, haha, only posted to say that I went to see the yard at Plessy.
