No apologies for putting this on twice!!!!!!

Please everyone if you want to keep or recover your trailer then take extra precautions. If this trailer has a postcode on the roof try contacting skywatch who will keep an eye out for it, it costs next to nothing to do this to a trailer just a little time on a ladder and you have a really good chance of recovering your property.

At the very least MAKE A RECORD of any chassis numbers or distinctive features so property can be recovered to you it will also help with charging people!!

Also consider using an old mobile phone and sim card then google "mobile phone tracking" for a cheap and effective method of recovering your trailer and getting these thieves prosecuted!

Hampshire horsewatch have some good tips http://www.nfed.co.uk/horsewatch.htm but if you do not take the time to mark your trailer and pay for the most effective protection then it makes it easier for someone to steal and make money from.

Please also don't consider buying trailers from unknown sources cheaply as you are adding to someone else’s misery!!!

Hi

the trailer mentioned was at Downe Court stables, Downe, Kent - lady had only just bought it and it was uninsured......

What are the details on your trailer? make, model, ccolour? and what yard was it taken from..?

Perhaps I can put the details on our local forum...... its obviously that time of year again!!!

The first I heard about a horse being stolen in our area was the poster I have seen of this horse at the Saddlery and Gunroom and that was last Saturday - stated horse was kept Keston area ... other than that I must say I have not seen any other posters or heard anything through any other horse riders in the area....

I even said to my daughter how extremely close this was to us...

If you have any info such as pictures etc., would be helpful... also what day and time the horse was taken..... has Horsewatch and the police been notified......

and I quite agree a horse being stolen is 100% more times worse than a trailer being stolen.... thoughts go out to the owner - anything we can do to help find this horse - just ask....
