Out on hound exercise today we passed some sheep behind electric fencing. The sheep followed the hounds the whole way baa-ing at them. I was told the hunt try to avoid sheep when out hunting as they seem to think the hounds are a flock of sheep and will follow them everywhere, including going through a hedge. The hounds took no notice of all these sheep trotting next to them. I knew sheep were stupid but not that stupid.

most hounds ignore sheep full stop , those that don't will be punished and if they dont learn first time then thats it!!

It's a pity you can't say that for antis: I've seen them charge through in lamb ewes. B@stards, but then it was never about cruelty, was it?
