Thanks all, plan is to make the break today. Mum will be so pleased!! They called Dillon "Damien" at the vets (devil child!!)
Crazy - sorry to hear your mare is on box rest too, things are always going so well, and something happens which you least expect, and always at the most troublesome times! Callie sounds like she will be fine, its amazing how independant they become and how quickly. Been watching some of the big cat diary thing over the past week, and horses are truly amazing at their ability to become self sufficient so quickly compared to others
Weasel - thats a real shame, is the Section A not going to better soon? As much as I hated doing it, I sent my 2yr old to my friends farm to live with some others, i didnt get to see him every day, often dark after work etc. However he survived and is a lovely chap now. As much as its horrid, we have to do whats best for them. I hope you manage to get something sorted soon, and that your little chap gets better
