shame the organises of the parade did not think to give out a list of the stallions present, or include something in the programme,

There was a lady handing out a sheet with infomation on the stallions taking part in the parade . She had loads of them and was quiet happy to hand one out

There certainly wasnlt any oversight as far as that was concerned, but with (as I said) at least 3 stallions withdrawing on the day and about 8 in total in the week beforehand any catalogue listing provided in the Burghley programme (which went to press at least 1 month before) would have been impossible and there was no emchanism to get a loose insert put in by the catalgue sellers -- as anyone who has experience of organising such a parade at public (as distinct from dedicated events) would tell you.

In fact the lady handing out the stallion list was wearing a bright yellow floursecent gillet so that everyone could see her. However, if anyone would like a list of the stallions and their numbers/contact details and didn'tget one from her on the day then PM me with your e-mail address and I will send you one as a Word file.
