Old yard's new website!
      #2608459 - 18/12/2007 21:29

Stag Lodge Stables

My ex-YO asked me to help with the stables' website - thinking for some reason that I knew what I was doing! It was ok though, because it turned out his son could do the technical stuff - all I really did was provide the photos and bits of the text. I know it's very basic but if anyone saw what they had before you'll know it was much worse! I think despite its shortcomings as a piece of website design, it makes it look like a nice yard. I have emailed some little suggestions though - e.g. a full stop at the end of the text on the home page!

What do you think? *prepares to be shot down*

Looks excellent, very clear to navigate and the right level of information.

I'm glad I don't have to pay that much to ride though!

I know of at least one other yard in the area that's even more expensive!

Looked at the horses, clicked on Sunshine and Basil keeps popping up, slight technical hitch maybe. Other than that, well thought out site and easy to navigate.

Looks good - just spotted that under "child prices" on the main menu the loan a pony week states £250 where as under the "pony week" heading on the main menu it states £225.

Nice site - uncluttered and has all the necc. info... - shows how out of touch I am though - those prices are double whatI was paying! But then that was about 10 years ago and not in London!

I can't believe fudge is still there! She belonged to my friend and was a great little Pony Club pony, always won all the gymkhana races and she was a very speedy jumper We couldn't believe it when they sold her to a riding school but she couldn't have any turnout so it was quite a good set-up for her I suppose.

Getting back to the topic the website looks great although I would like to see more pictures of the school etc
