He has only gone and done it! He has proved that my hours of walking and worrying havent been in vain. I weighed him the other day and then again today just to be sure, and he's in at 250k!!! That's a loss of about 15!!
I don't know how good that is for a month, but I'm happy. Another month of this and he can go out 24/7 with his muzzle on in the day and I can worry so much less.

Katy that's brilliant news! Your hard work is paying off and i'm sure G feels much better for it too.
Could actuially feel Jelly's ribs last night, so she's lost alot too. Perhaps we need to start an equine slimmers club for the fatties http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It's just a shame I can't lose as much myslef in so little time lol.
I can't feel his ribs yet, but we're getting there. Jelly and G would get on so well http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Two greedy guts together.

Well done!! Just out of interest how do you weigh your pony? http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

you get a weighing tape, place it around the girth, and take the measurement down. Do it again a few days later, and then, just to be sure, again a day or so later. Take the average (their girths can change day to day dependant on what they've eaten etc etc so it's best to do two or three measurements).
