This is Versace, born in 2002 and who got a 1st Premium from the KWPN judges as a foal. We sold her to a lady in England who was into showjumping. However, Versace was more geared towards dressage, so she went to a lovely new owner who has always kept in touch with us.
Anyway "Molly" as she was known to her owners had turned into a fantastic mare and out of 7 starts last year in dressage she was 1st five times, got a 2nd and 3rd.
Sadly this beautiful mare took a rare skin disorder this year and despite all the specialists attempts she was PTS last Friday due to the side effects of all the drugs that were administered. Despite top care and attention, along with second opinions, it was decided that this was the best solution for her.
We are so sad to hear this news today http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, this mare was only 6 and had such a bright future ahead of her. She meant so so much to her owners and they were looking forward to a very bright future with her as a top class dressage horse.
Anyway these were the pictures taken of her by her owners (their special moments), over the last couple of years, and I hope they do not mind me sharing them with you. The one with the beautiful young child brought me to tears, as it is just such a beautiful moment.

This wonderful mare was by our deceased stallion Geneve, out of our oldest mare, Anja. We always adored this filly, as she has something special about her.
RIP VERSACE, galloping among the meadows in heaven, and all our thoughts and prayers are with her owners at this very tragic time... http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Life can throw some very cruel situations into our paths at times. http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
