    How to get there

Grid reference SP018151. Postcode GL54 4BH. Withington is located between the A40 Cheltenham to Oxford road and the A435 Cheltenham to Cirencester road.

    What the organisers say

Withington has flat dressage arenas sited on permanent grass, away from the action and with a large, quiet warm-up area.

Steve Williams designs the showjumping in a large, flat, permanent grass arena with a good set of jumps.

Eric Winter designs all the cross-country courses, which run over undulating grassland with some small woodland elements on well draining, permanent pasture.

The event runs only once a year, in order that the best ground conditions can be assured. The fences are solidly built, up to height and mainly permanent. There are ditches, steps, arrowheads, corners and a water complex, all with good ground lines, creating flowing and attackable courses.

Good viewing of much of the cross-country course makes this an attractive event for owners and supporters alike.

The courses are ideal for those who have established a good partnership as they encourage bold, attacking riding.
