    How to get there

Two miles from Melksham towards Bradford on Avon on the B3107. From the west, take junction 18 of the M4, or from the east leave at junction 17.

    What the organisers say

The dressage is held on flat grass with the showjumping, designed by Adrian House, in a large, permanent sand/cloft arena.

The cross-country courses are designed by Peter Collins and Richard Burns, and run over slightly sloping permanent pasture with equi-vators used to ensure the best possible going. The ground is not grazed at any time and is maintained for the sole use of cross-country competitions. Fences are a mix of portables and specially built permanent obstacles in natural fence lines. All fences are fair and inviting. We continually change our courses.

The tracks are challenging in places, but good alternatives mean that a first-timer could get round. At this level we want competitors to complete.
