Could you be an ERA area representative?

  • The Event Riders Association (ERA) is looking for four regional representatives to support members and the ERA board across the country.

ERA needs one person from each BE region — Scotland and the North, Wales and Central North, Central South and South.

ERA chairman Francis Whittington said: “If you are passionate about eventing and want to see the sport move forwards we want to hear from you.

“We are looking for a broad range of people from BE80 riders to advanced, from single horse amateurs to professionals.”

He said applicants should be prepared to invest some time in ERA and be approachable to members as they will be the first point of contact for members in their region.

They will also liaise between members and the board to ensure their region’s voice is heard.

If you would like to be more involved, email your contact details, which BE area you live in and a few words about yourself to regionalrep@eventridersassociationuk.org.

The closing date for applications is Friday 9 July.
