  • Nicolas Touzaint gave his home crowd something to cheer about when he took the CCI** at Compigne with Joker D’ Helby, finishing on his dressage score of 40.6.

    Runner-up was Belgium’ s Karin Donckers, riding SS Jett, who recovered well after a dramatic moment on the cross-country when the horse slipped and fell on a turn.

    Third place went to France’s Aurelien Kahn on Lord De Lignire, while Nicolas Touzaint also took fourth place with Kopervik Corubert. Fifth was Germany’s Michael Jung with La Biosthetique-Sam.

    France’s Anouck Soulier jumped her way into sixth place with Edenroz De Penvern, while fellow countrymen Franck Bourny (L’Aristo Du Lado) and Cedric Lyard (If You Want II) finished in seventh and eighth respectively.

    Louisa Lockwood and The Diva were the best of the British contingent, finishing 10th, and Nick Turner was 11th with Boxter Bravo. just 0.2 penalties.
