Chatsworth Horse Trials supports local charity

  • Chatsworth Nissan International Horse Trials (13-14 May) in Derbyshire has nominated Just A Few Minutes Emergency Support (JAMES) as its official charity at this year’s event.

The local charity was formed in 2004 and provides free training in emergency first aid for children and infants to parents, carers, teachers and anyone else who regularly comes into contact with children.

Lindsey Horsnall, founder of JAMES said: “The first few minutes following an accident are critical to survival — it only takes four minutes of a child being unconscious for brain damage to occur.”

Demonstrations of resuscitation techniques will take place throughout the horse trials and there will also be a raffle in aid of the charity.

The horse trials is a fun day out for all the family and features Pony Club Mounted Games, Chariots of Fire and Owls Galore alongside 100 tradestands.
