Britain’s young event riders win gold


  • Good news for British eventing as young rider team brings home team gold at European Championships

    Britain’s young rider team have brought home the gold medal from the EuropeanChampionships in Waregem, Belgium.

    Lying eighth after the dressage, the team pulled out all the stops in the cross-country and show jumping phases to finish ahead of Germany (silver) and Finland (bronze).

    The British team were: Piggy French, who was also fourth individually, Clare Chamberlayne, Kylie Roddy and Helen West
