Blenheim Horse Trials director quits

  • Andy Griffiths has resigned from his position as the director of Blenheim Horse Trials.

Mr Griffiths took over as director in 2007, when his predecessor, Mike Etherington-Smith, took on the role of director of sport at British Eventing in May.

Interviews for the Blenheim job took place last week and an announcement is expected shortly.

“I feel my commitments as vice-chairman of the FEI eventing committee and as development officer for Eastern Europe and now South Africa, combined with my own business, preclude me from giving Blenheim the time it deserves,” said Mr Griffiths.
