Scottish dressage championships


  • Jo Barry and Vivaldi V were dual Scottish champions at Ingliston EC, Bishopton, on 9 September.

    Having taken the novice with a resounding 78.23%, the West Lothian-based rider went on to score 73.62% to take the elementary honours.

    Aberdeenshire-based Gillian Green made a 5hr journey to take the prelim with her Clydesdale/Thoroughbred gelding Glenmarcus.

    The 2006 advanced medium champions, Lee McKendry and Gacela, retained their honours.

    Corinna Wyse and Riva were crowned medium champions. Riva won the novice title as a five-year-old.

    Joy McLean and Rockette III became prix st georges champions.
