Riders enjoy festive dressage success


  • Myerscough

    Lisa Marriott won both the novice qualifier with Vanity Fair and the prix st georges with Safira at Myerscough, reports Jo Prestwich. Tim Pearson won the advanced medium with home-bred former event horse Mr Fabulous, while Yvonne Moran and Olympus Field took the medium qualifier.

    Patchetts

    Miranda Hughes and her Weltmeyer gelding, Welter, were double elementary winners at Patchetts, writes Ruth Pearce. The contrasting tunes of T-Rex and Abba provided the soundtrack for Sara Chittleburgh and her pony Bernwode Denessy to head the elementary freestyle on 82.29%.

    Kingswood EC

    Sophie Cox and Orlando X won two classes to qualify for the summer regionals at elementary, reports Jo Prestwich. Sam Fish also racked up a double triumph with the Thoroughbred/Shire Cumeragh House Max, while Mark Bentley’s Lusitano Parks Sintra took the medium.
