Affiliated dressage: Manor Farm, Wellington Riding and Reaseheath


  • Manor Farm

    Jacqueline Fedi and Dirty Harry marked their freestyle debut by heading both the novice and elementary classes at Manor Farm (10 November), reports Ruth Pearce.

    Ruth Hurst led the medium music with Sue Broom’s Fabioso, then took the prix st georges freestyle with 72% with her own Latin Lover.

    Riding to classical rock, Paul Hayler led the advanced medium music on 72.3% with Gill Allison’s British-bred gelding Highlander.

    Wellington Riding

    Jackie Stolper’s Der Schufro claimed first place in both the novice and elementary classes at Wellington Riding’s freestyle show (5 November), reports Helen Triggs

    Sara-Jane Lanning was second in the novice on Her Vindilis, then went on to win the medium and was second in the advanced medium with European Bacherus. Sara-Jane also won the advanced medium on Rimskij Korsakov and finished second in the prix st georges to Claire Speer.

    Reaseheath College

    Janet Horswill and Picasso 689 made a winning medium debut at Reaseheath College on 10 November, reports Jo Prestwich.

    A score of 76.89% secured the elementary qualifier for Anna Brown and her German-bred gelding Damascus III.

    Gemma Abram, a member of the winning North West team at the BYRDS Under 25s at Sheepgate, rode her own Bernwode Dimitri to win the novice.
