Jockey Timmy Murphy sidelined with suspected broken collarbone
4 November, 2009
Grand National-winning jockey Timmy Murphy was taken to hospital yesterday (Tuesday 3 November) with a suspected broken collarbone.
Murphy looks set to be out for three or four weeks after he fell from the Victor Dartnall-trained Dastardly Dick at Exeter.
The jockey was sidelined for two months over the summer after dislocating his left shoulder at Newton Abbot in July.
